Mid State Trailers, founded in 2017, provides custom built trailers which can haul anything from your small prized possessions to your large agricultural needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Trailer Welder/Fabricator, other duties may be assigned.

  • Building metal trailers and ramps, which includes cutting, welding, grinding, and cleaning
  • Assist with general warehouse cleaning and maintenance
  • Assist with moving raw materials and finished products around via forklift

Requirements:

  • Structural Steel MIG Welder with minimum 2 years experience
  • Must be extremely detailed and a quick learner
  • Must be highly motivated and positive individual
  • Exceptional listener with excellent time management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to build items with and without blueprints
  • Knowledge and experience using shears, brake presses, drills, grinders and forklift is preferred, but not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of building fixtures and jigs
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Will assist in tracking of supplies and raw materials
  • Must be a team player and problem solver

NOTE: We also offer an incentive bonus plan which provides up to $7.00 additional pay per hour.
