Overview
– Fabricates and installs piping assemblies and custom assemblies
– Operating accessory equipment for pipe fitting (pipe bevelling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, torch or plasma cutter, drill press)
– Works under minimum technical direction from management
– Low absenteeism and is punctual
– Clean Driving Record required
– Performs complicated and diverse work
– Completes work within expected periods of time
– Reads drawings and understands dimensions and measurements
– Follows instruction and works efficiently
– Understands how to do the layout, fabrication and design
– Handles medium to heavy materials intermittently using crane
– Completes shop records and time cards accurately, completely, and on time
