Job Location: Delhi, LA


Summary: Seeking qualified individuals for Welders. Prior Aluminum welding experience is desired but will consider any welding experience as aluminum is a niche skill area, training provided for the right person who demonstrates welding knowledge


Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify proper welding wire and alloy is used for the applicable base metal
  • Ability to change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, nozzles and set proper tension on rollers
  • Ability to set proper welding parameters (voltage & wire speed)
  • Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal & Vertical Fillet Positions
  • Demonstrate competency in post welding treatment – i.e. brushing, cleaning, straightening & weld quality
  • Pass Welding Performance Test (given on-site during interview process-Q.A. determination)
  • Fast paced assembly style facility
  • Ability to handle several hundred small welds applied in a single shift.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
  • Must have the ability to stand on hard surfaces while working
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled temperatures


Education and Work Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Technical Training Desired with focus in Welding
  • Welding Certification, a plus
  • OSHA training, a plus
