Overview

Central Air Equipment is currently hiring a Fabrication Apprentice Millwright to join our Calgary Shop. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in a fabrication facility building turnkey rotating equipment packages.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Alignment and placement of mechanical equipment such as compressors, dryers/filtration, tanks, and N2 generators on structural skids.

· Install instrument tubing and small diameter threaded pressure piping

· Assist welders with structural skid fabrication as required

· Installation of other relevant equipment (HVAC, Electrical equipment…)

· Perform paint touchups prior to shipment

· Maintain a clean and Safe Work Environment

· Other duties as assigned

Qualification

· Be a registered apprentice or be eligible for registration

· Motivated, willing to learn and accept feedback

· Strong Mechanical understanding

· Willing to work independently and as part of a team

· Able to interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings

Salary: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
