Overview

We are currently looking for a full-time Estimator for our Fabrication department based in Brampton, Ontario. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the individual we are seeking will have the exceptional ability to manage multiple projects from the estimation to completion. They will be able to coordinate professionally between customers and our team to ensure exemplary customer service.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Provide quotes to the Account Managers by gathering labour and materials through proposals, manufacturing drawings, specifications, and related documents

o Collect and gather the information that will be used by the Account Managers

o Ability to read 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings

o Materials take-offs from drawings

o Strong verbal and written communication skills

o Ability to collect, track and analyze data

o Knowledge of metal fabrication process (ie. saw cutting, welding, machining)

o Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook

o Interact with customers and Account Managers to understand scope of work.

About You

  • Experience with Oracle systems (asset)
  • Computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office Suite)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven administrative skills
  • Background in plastic supply and manufacturing (asset)
