Position Title: Labourer – Fabrication

Overview

This position reports to Fabrication Supervisor and is responsible to assist with Fabrication of Pipe Supports.

Work Performed:

· Under the direction of fabrication lead and supervisor

· Use of grinder and other power tools to perform drilling and edge preparations

· Assemble finished components

· Grinding, stenciling, bending clamps with the use of a manual press

· Forklift use to pick material inventory

· Bolt up of clamps

· Robotic welding operation

· General clean up, shoveling, emptying of scrap and garbage bins

· Operation of drill press

· Operation of sandblaster

Qualifications/Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalence

· Forklift experience an asset

· Must be able to work in noisy environment, standing 8 – 10 hours a day

· Experience in fast-paced production shop required

· Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly throughout duration of shift

Contract length: 3 months

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
