Fabrication & Packing Supervisor
Summary:
We are currently seeking a Fabrication and Packing Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall success of the fab and packing operations which includes leadership, health and safety, quality, production targets, and operations administration.
Responsibilities:
Supervise all operations and personnel working in fabrication and packing departments
Lead the team by planning, organizing, directing, controlling, measuring and taking corrective action
Ensure employees have a safe work environment and all best practices, 5S, and safety rules are being followed
Achieve daily scheduled production output as per plan. Anticipate risk and take corrective action in advance
Ensure all products meet Can Art’s quality standards
Keep accurate records of employees’ attendance and hours worked in ADP workforce system in accordance with Company policies
Manage the performance and development of fabrication operators and packing team members through training, feedback and individual performance evaluations
Qualifications Required:
Post-secondary education in Business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline
Must have at least five years of directly related experience in a production environment
Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a shop floor supervisor
Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or fabrication facility is a definite asset
