Overview
We are looking for a Fabrication Shop Foreperson that can lead a fabrication team with day-to-day operational activities.
This position is in the Whitecourt area and is a permanent full-time opportunity. We are looking for a candidate with a Journeyperson Pipefitter or Welding background with 5 years fabrication and supervision experience.
What would you be doing?
Organize and administrate staff duties and training for day-to-day operational activities.
Manage work force performance and disciplinary issues while finding creative ways to resolve problems.
Assist with takeoffs and estimates
Coordinate multiple projects and timelines for various clients
Assist with maintaining shop supply and inventory while providing reports on shop daily progress.
Lead by example on safety and quality, adhering to ClearStream’s expectations
Does this sound like you?
Journeyperson Pipefitter or Welding certificate or equivalent years’ experience.
5 or more years’ structural and piping experience.
Valid CSTS, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid considered an asset
Computer skills required
Advanced MS Office experience preferred.
