Job Description
Excell Railing Systems is seeking self-motivated team players interested in building a career in aluminum fabrication to work in our shop.
Responsibilities will include performing the physical tasks to prepare parts, complete assemblies and other duties as needed.
Prior experience in metal work is an asset but we will train if you have the right attitude and aptitude. Wage is based on experience with bonus points for forklift and first aid tickets.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to read basic fabrication drawings.
- Comfortable working with power tools like chop saws, grinders, drills, and screw guns.
- Understand how to use a tape measure and do basic mathematical operations.
- Able to work quickly in a fast paced manufacturing environment while observing safe work practices.
- Must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, have reliable attendance and be detail, safety, and quality oriented. Applicants living outside BC will not be considered.
Wages are industry competitive, medical and dental benefits available after probation period.
