Location: Midlothian, EH22 – work to be carried out throughout surrounding areas
Our client is a family run company of experts in the steel industry, based in Mayfield, Dalkeith. They are ideally based on the outskirts of Edinburgh, allowing them to serve Scotland and Northern England, with a portfolio reaching all the way to John O’ Groats.
They are currently working from their 6500 sq. ft fabrication facility in Mayfield, complete with 5t overhead crane and large storage yard.
Due to continued success and growth they are presently looking for a Blacksmith/Fabricator to join their team and carryout work within Edinburgh and the Lothians.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication/blacksmith and to have worked on projects such as handrails, staircases, balustrades etc. As well as demonstrating the skills of being a welder fabricator.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Previously worked on projects such as handrails, staircases, balustrades etc
· Fabrication experience is essential
· Experience in producing work to a high standard
· Excellent attitude to customer service
· Ability to read engineering drawings.
· Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.
· To work within a team.
· Full UK Driving Licence
· CSCS card is essential
