PROJECT

PECO is looking for a capable and inventive individual to help discover potential product designs possible with our new large-scale plastic press and existing processes.

There are three areas that will be focused on within this project:

  • Shredder – source and install an appropriate motor for an existing small-scale shredding machine.
  • Design various molds for a new press, inventing and pushing boundaries for what is possible with various plastics within the melting process.
  • Design and assemble prototypes of art applications as well as furniture and small housewares to be included as PECO’s official product line.

Imagine designing products that are useful, beautiful AND positive on environmental impact.
