The Position:
The Fabricator position is vital part of the production team. The Fabricator will be working with steel and aluminum to fabricate and weld(10-25% of the time) dampers and louvers, utilizing a variety of tools and machines. Attention to detail, ability to read blueprints/drawings and work as a team.

Position Title: FABRICATOR – Sheet Metal/Welding ***STRAIGHT DAYS***
What a typical day look like for a Fabricator:
· Read and interpret work orders;
· Assemble custom and complex projects including mig welding
· Produce required number of finished product as per custom order requirements;
· Ensure safety procedures are adhered to for each piece of equipment being worked with as well as all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and guards are used and in place;
· Maintain a clean and clear of hazards work area;
· Perform other duties as required.
Technical Skills Required:
· 2+ years welding experience – mig, transitioning between heavy and light material;
· Read and interpret imperial measurements;
· Operate various pieces of equipment and tools as required;
· Ability to list up to 50lbs.
Working Environment:
· Be able to thrive within a busy working environment to meet scheduled/rush delivery dates;
· Requires the ability to exert physical effort and must be able to work within a fast paced environment;
· Able to work independently and with a team;
· Be punctual for shifts.
