Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Fabricator to work on our Wall Panel Production team building high-quality metal components for our clients. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting panel and structural steel drawings, fabricating metal components or structures and performing quality checks on finished products. You may also be required to set up fabricating machines.
What Are You Responsible for?
Ø Reading and interpreting panel and structural steel drawings
Ø Prefabricating and fabricating interior and exterior wall panels
Ø Performing quality checks with completed wall panels and components
Ø Conforming with company safety regulations
Ø Process improvement: identifying minor ways the system can be simplified
What Knowledge Skills and Abilities should I bring to the team?
Ø Highschool Diploma or GED is required
Ø Post-Secondary diploma in a construction related discipline is an asset
Ø Previous work experience in Construction/Fabrication
Ø Ability to read and interpret panel drawings and structural steel drawings
Ø Ability effectively operate power tools
Ø Mathematical aptitude
Ø Willingness to learn
Ø Forward thinking
Ø Ability to lift upwards of 50 to 80 pounds
Ø Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ø Self-driven, positive attitude, willingness to excel
