Overview

Operate weld equipment, acetylene torches, plasma cutters, hand grinders, saws & drill presses in the fabrication and assembly of various structures and piping systems, including material preparation and performance of TIG & MIG processes in stainless and carbon steel materials per fabrication drawings and the applicable welding code specification.

  • Must be able to understand and follow fabrication drawings and be familiar with standard fabrication details and allowances.
  • Must have a working knowledge of trigonometry and geometry, and basic metal working.
  • Must be able lift 49 pounds.
  • Weld 20ga-11ga together through GMAW (TIG) and (MIG) process.
  • Weld components together and fabricate or repair products in accordance with layouts and blueprints using MIG and TIG welding equipment.
  • Must be able to assist Sheetmetal have knowledge of different type Sheetmetal gages.
  • Must be able to assist saw operator.
  • Must have good organization skills and understand machine practices and tooling.
  • Must have good communication skills.

Relevant work experience: 5 yrs. + Fabricator – Welder

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
