FABRICATOR TIG WELDER – MINIMUM 3-5 years of EXPERIENCE – CUSTOM CANOPY & SHADE STRUCTURE SHOP – CHARLOTTE, NC

We are an industry-leading custom canvas and metal, awning, and shade sail manufacturer and fabricator in Charlotte, NC with a proven 40-year track record. This position is available immediately, so we are asking for serious experienced applicants that are available and willing to start now or after reasonable notice to current employer.

We need an EXCEPTIONAL FABRICATOR to join our team! All work is fabricated in-house from custom extrusion, tubing, plates, and some steel (very little sheet metal involved). Candidate must be creative with experience fabricating using raw materials with or without shop drawings. You must be skilled in ALL aspects of fabrication and ALUMINUM TIG welding; this is not a jig or production position. We are NOT looking for a standalone welder; we need a talented FABRICATOR, LEADER, and TEAM PLAYER with excellent welding skills and looking to move to the next level. This position will work into a management position for the right person and include R & D, improved fabrication methods, and quality control.

Immediate full-time position – M-F – 7:30 am-4:00 pm – Occasional overtime may be needed.

Starting pay will be based on EXPERIENCE AND WORK HISTORY. Bring professional and personal references. We screen all applicants past work history and references. You must have a clean driving record. Pay is competitive with a starting range of $45,000-$75,000 per year – paid hourly PLUS OVERTIME –- 90-day reevaluation WILL BE based on PERFORMANCE, SKILLSET, ATTITUDE, AND SELF-MOTIVATION.
