Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and entry-level field pipe welders for job sites within the state of Texas. This position requires a self-motivated, competent individual with a high energy level who is able to work alone or with others in a field environment. Job duties would include welding carbon and stainless steel pipe on site. The welder may also be required to occasionally assist in pipefitting.
Compensation will be based on experience.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel out of state for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to take a 6G position welding test
- Must be capable of performing complex welds correctly
- Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning skills
- High School GED or higher
- Pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Combo welding experience (tig, mig and stick)
- Structural and x-ray welding certifications
- 2 + years of field welding experience
- Experience welding stainless and carbon pipe
