Responsibilities:

· Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of equipment

· Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

· Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment

· Able to perform SMAW and Metal Arc Welding

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures with respect to safety, quality, and environmental requirements

Qualifications:

· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a related position

· Forklift certification required

· Welding certification an asset

· Working at Heights certification preferred

· Electrical knowledge and PLC experience an asset

· Working knowledge of steel fabrication equipment – punching, forming, machining, welding, etc.

· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

· Solid trouble-shooting and problem solving skills

· Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule work effectively with a team in a fast paced environment

· Strong organization and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per year
