Job Summary
- Understand and execute fabrication instructions as illustrated on work orders, diagrams, and drawings
- Lay out, fit, brace, and weld fabricated cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as liners, buckets, bucket components, mechanical assemblies, structural assemblies and chutes with electric arc-welding equipment
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
- Shift flexibility for local work in an underground environment
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), CWB, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Confined Space
- Valid G licence
