Overview
Working Lead hand. Responsible for safely and efficiently organizing and assisting in welding and Industrial maintenance projects at various locations in the GTA. Some remote work required. Candidate will be provided with company service truck and is responsible for keeping truck and equipment in good working condition reporting any issues to the office so they can be addressed.
Majority of work is done at various concrete plants In the GTA experience with concrete plant/ asphalt plant and quarry operations is a definite asset. Hoisting Rigging Larger Items, Welding SMAW and FCAW, Oxy Propane cutting, Working at heights with aerial platforms, Telehandler and forklift experience, Steel erection, Confined space,
Ideal candidate will be punctual and organized. Some paper work is required ex Timesheets, Safety permits, Receipts.
Days are 10 to 12 hrs a day Include drive to and from site. Some weekends are mandatory. Lots of optional overtime available. Early mornings to be beat traffic 5am to 6am start time on site.
GTA work is paid drive in drive home. overtime is after 44hrs
Remote location work ex: Ottawa and Northern Ontario. All travel expenses lodging and food allowance is covered.
