Overview

Bradken’s Specialty Products business is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, complex engineered castings and fabrications for commercial and military applications. Bradken operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people worldwide.

As a Finisher you will be responsible for performing welding and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment under the supervision of the Supervisor/Lead in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for reading of prints, work orders and planning of work procedures regarding tools and material requirements. Your attention detail and ability to handle specific tasks will make you successful in this position. You have a strong work ethic and able to manage directions to complete tasks in a certain amount of time. You work effectively with others but can also work independently depending on what is the best need for the organization.

SHIFT: 1st Shift Monday – Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

2nd Shift Monday – Thursday: 3:30pm – 1:30am

HOURLY RATE: $20.00-$25.00/HOUR

Key Technical Criteria:
Minimum 12th grade diploma or equivalency

Welding and cutting as per instructions on the shop floor

Ability to read blueprints (preferred)

Previous experience in a hard facing fabrication shop (preferred)

Knowledge of oil and gas or manufacturing industry (preferred)

Solid understanding of the use and care of hand and power tools and equipment of the trade

Ability to lift 50lbs
