Tired of dark factories with no windows, shift work, inconsistent hours, working outside and getting laid off when it slows down? TRK is all indoor work with windows in the factory, consistent days (7am – 3:30pm M-F) and we do not work overtime. And since TRK has its own product range when build to order work slows down we convert to stock building mode and keep our staff employed. Wage will depend on your skill level, qualifications and experience.
TRK Attachments is a heavy equipment attachments manufacturer based in St. Catharines. We currently have a permanent full-time opening for an experienced and reliable Welder Fabricator. The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks. TRK is a hard-working, fast growing and a dynamic place to work.
The main required qualification for this job is fitting & fabrication experience, not just welding. You need to be good at measuring, alignment and welding procedures. The ideal candidate enjoys the challenge of problem-solving and finding solutions under pressure. The work is continuously varied and interesting.
Duties to include:
– Reading blueprints and communicating with design department
– Fitting, alignment & tack welding, welding together assemblies
– MIG welding, bandsaw, and forklift operation
Qualifications Required:
– Fitting and fabricating experience
– Experience reading blueprints
– Excellent welding skills
– Good communication skills
– Ability to operate a forklift
– Good sense of humor!
