Overview
Miscellaneous/Structural steel fabrication shop looking for experienced fitter – CWB certification for MCAW/FCAW – Minimum 5 years experience in fabrication shop environment, valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation, demonstrate ability to read/understand and communicate fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Experience safely operating forklifts, saws, iron workers and other powered hand tools is a bonus. Submit all certifications (CWB, First Aid, etc.) with application. Candidates will be required to pass pre-work testing for drug and alcohol as well as a physical demands work out through Surehire. Primarily looking for night shift (5:00PM – 3:30AM Mon-Thurs) but also looking for dayshift (6:00-4:30 – 4 days on – 4 days off). Nightshift carries a $3/HR premium. Hours of work will/can vary based on delivery schedules for projects and manpower. Wages commensurate with experience and abilities with possible increase after probationary period.
