Would you like to work for an industry-leading manufacturer with 50+ years in the design & manufacturing of Material Handling Equipment?

Hydraux Manufacturing Corp. in Bolton, Ontario is seeking a Fitter-Welder/Fabricator. Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and fitting all types of steel in accordance with the engineer drawings provided.
We manufacture special customized units therefore the fabrication work is always changing and never repetitive.

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekends Off, Overtime offered but not mandatory)

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledge with Fitting, Aligning, and welding sub-assemblies and complete assemblies from provided drawings and specifications provided. (MIG Welding, Some Stick Welding)
  • Ability to use Oxy-acetylene, Plasma, Drill Press, Bandsaws & Power tools
  • Able to follow instructions and be able to work with minimal amount of supervision
  • Possesses strong attention to detail ability to verify material components and finished products quality control
  • Familiar with the set up and operation of welding machines and other equipment required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and plant in a professional and safe manner
  • Strong team player and the ability to work independently

Starting pay depends on skill + experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
