Overview
Guelph Custom Welding and Fabrication Shop is seeking to add another welder to our team for installation of misc. metals, light structural and service work.
The position will entail mostly site work as part of a team but could also entail some service welding on your own. Applicant should be a self-starter with well rounded skills and a sound mechanical aptitude. The ability to accurately read blueprints, visualize and problem solve is crucial. Experience in custom fabricating and construction welding is strongly preferred.
Current all position stick tickets are preferred, those with recently expired tickets will need to obtain AP stick within 3 months.
Millwright experience, MIG and TIG experience would be a valuable an asset.
A valid drivers license is required and must be maintained for this position as most work is located locally or often less than an hour from the shop.
Note that this position is for full time days, however some evening shifts and out of town work may be required on occasion.
We offer TOP WAGES, PENSION, BENEFITS. Overtime after 9 hours daily, 1.5x Saturdays, 2x Sundays. Shift premium for after hours work.
Note: No out of province or out of country resumes please. You must be currently located within commuting distance to our shop.
