Mac’s Traders Inc. is a family owned and operated Scrap Metal Recycling facility located in Langley. We are seeking to hire strong, reliable, energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team.

The position wage is $25-30/hr, dependent on personal knowledge, experience, and capability shown. Previous experience in the industry is required. **There is opportunity to grow into a management role**

Shift hours of Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm. Guaranteed 40 hours per week, WITH overtime opportunity once established.

**Please note this work is primarily conducted outdoors, rain or shine, all year round**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, such as but not limited to, roll off trucks, roll off bins, tote bins, forklifts, skid steers, trailers and compactors

· Use of tools such as, but not limited to, welder, grinder, chop saw, band saw, pressure washer, paint sprayer

· Build from new or repair damaged unit/bins/equipment

· Assist in loading, unloading, and general movement of various steel materials

· Workplace cleanliness

· Quality control/assurance

· Safety from start to finish

· Measuring and math skills to employ throughout fabrication process

· Willingness to learn all areas of our fabrication process

REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to follow direction while left unsupervised

· Fit and capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs

· Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist.

· Driver’s license and own personal vehicle

· Outward thinking and creativity

· Steel toed boots

· Fluent in both verbal and written English

· Good teamwork and communication skills

· Compliance with all company policies

· Punctual, consistent attendance

Benefits are available after a 3 month probationary period.
