Job Description
We are the local Sales and Service Centre for Swagelok Company, a multinational a leader in the manufacture of fluid system components for Oil and Gas, Nuclear Power, Pulp and Paper and many other industries. We are seeking a full-time permanent associate to join our fabrication team in Mississauga.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and manage all activities involved in the operations of the fabrication department including hose cell scheduling, production, and maintenance
Schedules fabrication work to meet customer requirements.
Ensures compliance with safety policies, efficiency standards, inventory, process improvements and data reporting.
Proper maintenance and organization of company rental and shop tools and equipment.
Organize and maintain a professional Shop area.
Qualifications and Skills:
Five years of fabrication experience (welding, pressure tests, electrical) with pressurized fluid systems knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Strong computer skills MS Office and ability to learn new software as required
College diploma in instrumentation or electro-mechanical considered an asset.
Stainless Steel welding experience an asset (GTAW, SMAW, or Orbital)
Limited travel within Canada and the U.S.A, we have branch offices in Saint John NB, and Ottawa ON that may require assistance based upon workload.
