Envirosafe™ is the only company in the United States to build a truly turn-key and all-in-one fuel storage and delivery system for commercial use. For over 25 years our systems have been storing and dispensing fuel for the military, large data centers, police and fire departments, construction company, hospitals, and airports around the globe. Minimum Skill Requirements:

Must pass weld test using flux core. The test consists of horizontal, vertical up-hand, 2” and 3” pipes in 6G position.

**If you are unable to pass the minimum skill test you may be considered for an apprentice position at a lower rate until you are able to pass the weld test.

Your role as a Master Fuel System Builder:

By building on the foundation of your existing welding skills. We will train you to become a master fuel system builder. You will learn how to build fueling systems capable of storing 1,000 to 30,000 gallons of fuel. These systems range from basic vehicle to advanced fighter jet refueling systems.

You will be trained to:

  • Roll flat steel
  • Fit-up tank shells
  • Operate a sub-arc welding station
  • Layout and plasma cut bungholes
  • Weld bungs, leak test
  • Fabricate ladders and catwalks
  • Create fuel plumbing using blueprints and other design drawings
  • Connect and program fuel management systems and fuel dispensers

How shifts work:

All fuel system builders work four 10hr shifts per week. Your team will rotate between Monday – Thursday, and Tuesday – Friday shifts. What this means to you is: you will have a 2 day weekend and a 4 weekend every other week. This schedule provides an extra 51 days off per year compared to a typical 2 day weekend.

How your pay is determined:

Everyone regardless of past experience starts at the exact same training rate of $20 however, you become eligible for raises starting day one. We have established a rating system for each of the 8 stations required to build a complete system. The rating system goes from 1 to 5. As you demonstrate your ability to meet the requirements for a certain level at any station your pay will be automatically adjusted starting the very next week.

We expect all new team members to be at or close to $25/hr within the first year.

Performance Bonus:

Every system built is assigned a realistic target number of man-hours. For every hour saved below target for all systems built by a three-man team in a given 30 day period, a bonus will be awarded and split by the team.
