We are looking to add to our team to meet production goals. We are currently seeking:

WELDER

The position responsibilities include:

  • Set up welding equipment according to established weld procedures,
  • Fit and tack components to engineering drawing specifications and work instructions,
  • Weld components using MCAW, FCAW, SAW and/or MIG welding processes/techniques,
  • Operate material handling devices such as cranes, weld positioners, and lift trucks in a safe manner,
  • Safely operate hand tools such as needle guns and grinders,

Our wage range for Fluxcore welders is $27.16/hr – $30.28/hr, with an additional $1.35/hr in Afternoon Shift premium. We also offer First Aid premium for certified employees.

The preferred candidate will have:

  • A strong commitment to working safely and the willingness to actively participate in our health safety programs,
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in FCAW and MCAW welding techniques is an asset
  • The ability to read and understand blueprints, including some weld symbols and procedure datasheets,
  • Qualifies for or holds a valid certification from the Canadian Welding Bureau and/or 456A Journeyman
  • The ability to use a variety of measuring devices such as tape measures, verniers, calipers,
  • The ability to perform math calculations to an SSGD level
  • Be able to adhere to shift work schedule (day and afternoon shift)
