POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Frame Welder to join our Production team. This role is responsible for an assortment of welding tasks.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Following written and verbal instructions for assembling units meeting Company quality standards
Reading and understanding work orders, blueprints, and/or drawings for producing required parts for finished products
Inspecting parts for defects after being formed and taking action if needed
Assembling, fabricating, modifying, and repairing hollow metal steel doors and frames utilizing provided blueprints
Upholding all safety standards applicable to the responsibilities above
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent
MiG welding experience through training school or on the job experience
Basic math skills required
Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
Must be able to handle/lift to 40 pounds
Must be able to stand in place for extended amount of time
Must be able to work with proper PPE safety equipment
