Are you a Jack of All Trades and want to have a flexible schedule and virtually no repetition then this is the job for you!

Majority of the time will be spent working on equipment like trucks, skidsteers, trenchers, jumping jacks, chainsaws, ATVs, Side by sides, Snow Plows, Street Sweepers, trailers, etc.

No ticket is required but there is an option to be apprenticed as either an Outdoor Powersports Mechanic, Motorcycle Mechanic, or Automotive Mechanic if you desire.

We are a smaller outfit and are growing immensely every year. Our busiest time of the year is winter and spring so it leaves a lot of flexibility for summertime vacation time.

You will have access to an abundance of discounted parts for just about any type of equipment or project. As well as discounts at many other types of commercial supply chains.

You will also have access to a huge amount of specialty tools and fabrication equipment if you want to do personal projects.

There can be an option to receive bonuses based on performance on specific jobs. This is open for negotiation.

We need someone who is/has:

  • Significant amount mechanical knowledge
  • Fabrication abilities
  • Able to think outside the box to solve a problem
  • Organized
  • Punctual
  • Dependable
  • Has a reliable mode of transportation (There is no public transit to a lot of our work sites)
  • Moderate computer skills mainly for searching google or Youtube for solutions.
  • Cell phone (this can be provided)

The Mechanical work will be performed primarily 20 kms southwest of Stony Plain and occasionally in the West End of Edmonton.

  • Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (required)
  • Metal Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
  • driving pickup truck with large trailer: 1 year (preferred)
