Company Summary: Ranger is a fast-growing manufacturer of Custom Short run Heating and Air Conditioning Systems as well as Specialty Low-Ambient Conversion Solutions. We also operate a metal fabrication job shop with new state of the art cutting and bending equipment where we make products for ourselves as well as products used by our customers in the HVAC industry.

Job Summary:

Production Laborer – The role of the Production Laborer is to help ensure high quality and timely manufacture, assembly, and packaging of Ranger Products. Ranger Products include a variety of heating and cooling equipment, including air handlers, air-conditioners and heat pumps and low ambient solutions.

Fabrication Assistant – The role of the Fabrication Assistant is to help ensure high quality and timely manufacture, assembly, and packaging of Ranger and its Customers products. These products include HVAC cabinets, Low Ambient Solutions, Return Air Bases, Filter Boxes.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. with (1) 30minute Lunch Break & (1) 15minute Coffee Break, Fridays 8:00 am – 12:15pm with (1) 15minute Coffee Break.

Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities:

Production –

· Sheet metal cabinet assembly. Must Know how to use hand tools proficiently.

· Copper tube cutting, bending, and assembly.

· Insulating of assembled equipment.

· Use of measuring tape.

· Use of hand tools.

· Use of power/ pneumatic tools.

· Electrical wiring of manufactured equipment.

· Inspecting and pressure-testing of product to ensure high quality.

· Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Fabrication –

· Fill in for other positions as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

· Operate one or more types of machine in metal fabrication process (press brake or laser or spot welder).

· Practice good housekeeping and time management in the performance of daily duties.

· Use of measuring tape.

· Use of hand tools.

· Use of power/ pneumatic tools.

· Comply with all legislated and company health, safety and environmental policies.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

· Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.

· Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

· Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

· Production Assistant will be on their feet most of the day, performing a variety of manufacturing tasks, some of which include moving/lifting of items up to 100 lbs.

· Read specifications or follow verbal instruction.

Qualifications/Experience: Will train the right candidates.

Certifications and Licenses: (Preferred but not required) Forklift license.
