Position: General Labour / Yard Hand

Location: Edmonton, AB Epic Transport Solutions

Status: Full-time

Currently we are looking for a Container Repair / Yard labourer who can handle a fast past environment and think on their toes.

No experience needed, we are willing to train.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • repairing damaged seacan / ocean containers
  • regularly check, maintain and clean all company equipment
  • provide general labour support to yard staff when needed
  • ensure a safe work environment is in compliance with all safety policies and procedures at all times

Skills:

  • must be punctual, as well as able to meet deadlines
  • strong work ethic and able to understand and follow directions
  • able to work well in a team environment and on unsupervised
  • great communication and organizational skills
  • able to work in a physically demanding environment (mainly outside in the weather conditions)
  • must be able to lift over 50lbs
  • knowledge of hand tools
  • welding knowledge (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • 18+ years old
  • reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.50 per hour
