Overview
Circul-Air Corp is expanding and hiring general assembly / fabricators for our Peterborough facility. (Cavan-Monaghan).
We are hiring up to 3 permanent positions for August to support our ongoing growth.
Assembly includes but is not limited to:
- Erecting steel cabinets and steel sub assemblies
- Wiring or light electrical assembly
- Riveting, drilling and positioning of components.
- Material handling
Fabrication includes but is not limited to:
- Measuring, layout, punching and drilling
- Light machining tasks
- Cutting of product
- Sorting and assessing raw materials
Skills:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without restriction
- Must be able to manipulate heavier components and/or steel through full range of safe motion.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions as provided
- Attention and care to quality
Education:
– Min Grade 12 Graduate or Equivalent GED
Experience:
– Prior experience working with sheet metal, tube steel fabrication, HVAC or light duty assembly are an asset
Other Notes:
– Access to reliable personal transportation required as the city bus routes do not reach the facility.
– Applicants from Peterborough City / County, Cavan-Monaghan, City of Kawartha Lakes and immediate surrounding areas will be given preference.
– No relocation provided
– Compensation starts at $16.00 based on prior experience and demonstrated skills.
– Candidates may be requested to complete a skills test during interview based on prior experiences and skills.
– Students with commitment of at least 8 months will be considered.
