Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a General Labourer for the day shift with the Edmonton manufacturing team. This position will report to the General Foreman.

What you will do:
Clean and and maintain the work areas and equipment

Clean and maintain the yard and storage areas

Read and interpret work orders

Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers

Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices

Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials

Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and move parts using hand truck or dolly

Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:
Highschool Diploma

A minimum of one year of experience in a metal fabrication shop is an asset

Crane & Rigging experience or certification is an asset

Ability to operate Fork Lift is an asset, training may be provided

Knowledge of general safety practices

General knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment

Ability to lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
