Morskate Manufacturing is actively recruiting a motivated Full-Time Labourer/Welders Helper to join our dynamic team of professionals. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe operation and rigging of overhead cranes for transporting materials throughout the shop, as well as general labouring duties as required. If you are a reliable self starter with a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an excellent attendance record
- Safe operation of overhead crane for material movement
- Performing general labouring duties as instructed by supervisor
- Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous experience operating an overhead crane and/or rigging
- Must be physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs., and be on feet for long periods to perform labour and physical work
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Possess problem solving skills
- Ability to speak and understand English clearly
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Local or willing to relocate
- Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
- Active participation in company safety program
- Follow safety protocol including wearing of required PPE and understanding and application of safety policies, procedures and practices
