Pyrophobic Systems LTD and Jammbco Industrial Solutions LTD are two separate companies that utilize the same staff and facilities to fabricate and manufacture two separate product lines.
Jammbco specializes in the design, manufacturing, servicing and maintenance of kiln chains, econoliners, hangers, shackles, kiln burners and custom castings including cooling grates within the cement and pulp and paper industries.
Pyrophobic Systems is a leader in intumescent polymer sciences, manufacturing and engineered applications. They specialize in advanced passive fire safety solutions that save lives and protect property.
For over 25 years, Pyrophobic Systems patented technologies have been at the forefront of polymeric innovation. In that time, they’ve pioneered internationally accredited fire barrier systems tailored to building construction, battery energy storage and electric vehicle applications.
Due to growth, Pyrophobic Systems/ Jammbco are looking to hire a production position reporting to the Shop Supervisor/Operations Manager. Pyrophobic Systems/ Jammbco currently operates on day shift only. Hours of work are:
Monday through Thursday 10- hour shifts:
Lockhart Road – 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
Welham Road – 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures, regular housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area
Perform duties within quality standards
Prefers a physical position with heavy lifting up to 90 lbs and willing to utilize lifting aids accordingly
Packing parts into boxes
Lifting and removing door cores into racks
Material handling of heavy chains
Accurate records in the company’s computer systems
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Flexible to work overtime, cover for various other work cells, product lines, absences, as required
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced working environment and maintain the highest quality standards
Positive attitude and demeanor
Eager to learn
Ability to work in a team effectively and communicate with others (both verbal and written)
Basic computer skills required
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Good sense of organization and keen attention to detail
Education and Experience
1 year experience in a manufacturing, industrial or general labour position preferred
MIG welding experience preferred
Minimum High School Diploma, GED required.
