Hager Industries Inc. is looking for a General Labourer to perform a variety of tasks at our facility and customer locations. As a General Labourer it will be your responsibility to maintain a clean work environment around our shop and customer sites, and assist fabricators by prepping parts for fabrication.
As a general labourer you must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment and following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and have great attention to detail.
Experience/skills
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Stainless Steel TIG welding would be considered an asset.
- Valid G licence (drivers abstract will be requested).
Job Duties
- Shop cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Building maintenance.
- Pickups and deliveries.
- Stock material and consumable organization.
- Assisting fabricators with cleaning and prepping stainless steel parts.
- Testing and troubleshooting product functionality.
- Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
- Adhering to safety standards.
- Assisting with field work and performing duties at customer facilities.
