Overview
Sterling-Ridge provides a wide range of building envelope systems for commercial, recreational, industrial, and institutional projects.
We are currently looking for shop general labourers/fabricators with experience in glazing and ACM panel fabrication experience to join our team.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with fabrication of aluminum frames as well as ACM panels.
- Use CNC table for ACM Panel Building
- Operate table saws and other various hand tools.
- Drive trucks to installation sites and unload material, panels, windows and various tools.
- Load or unload materials used in construction or extraction.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs; overhead lifting, bending, etc.
- Assist in maintaining shop cleanliness.
– Standard work week is 40 hours (8 hours/day, 5 days a week). During peak period there will be overtime hours and occasional Saturday shifts.
– Standard hours 7:00am to 3:30pm
– Must have full G Class licence
– Minimum 1 year experience in the construction industry is preferred
– Lift-Truck certification are not mandatory but considered an asset
– Wages are commensurate with experience
