Coastal Curved Glass is looking for a hardworking and reliable team member to join our growing business. We offer a positive working environment with training and room for growth.

Job duties will include:

· Measuring, cutting, polishing, laminating, bending and general fabrication of glass

· Ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process

· Use of specialized glass manufacturing/ CNC equipment

· Collaborating with team members to maintain daily workflow

· Maintaining a safe and clean work area

Requirements:

· Experience in the glass industry is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. We are a small close working team, so the ability to be a team player is crucial.

· Able to lift at least 50+ lbs. on a regular basis

· Strong organization and communication skills

· Reliable, dependable and self-motivated

· Excellent attention to detail

About Us:

Coastal Curved Glass is a family run business that’s been operating in Canada since 1975. By focusing exclusively on curved glass and niche bent glass applications, our team possesses deep technical knowledge that allows Coastal Curved Glass to excel as an industry leader. Our large manufacturing facility houses leading glass bending technology, which we combine with our passion for hard work and quality craftsmanship.

We work from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:15pm. Over-time work is commonly available as we are extremely busy.

· Benefits and 5% RRSP match available after probation period. Year end profit sharing based on service time.

· Year-end profit sharing based on service time

· $22-28 to start with review after 3 months – wage dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are vaccinated. We rarely have customers in the shop and we have 20,000 SQFT manufacturing space so everyone is well spread out.
