Join our manufacturing team as a Laser Welder.You will work as part of a team to ensure that all projects are completedsafely, correctly and meet customer expectations. You will be expected tofollow and promote all safety and quality directives in support of SiemensEnergy commitment to be the “Industry’s Premier Service Provider”.
The primary function of the job is to fabricateand deposit sound weld/repairs on turbine compressor components, etc. usinghighly technical/programmable laser welding systems and manual techniques.
If selected for this position, you will beassigned to work a four by ten, night shift, schedule Monday through Thursday.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
Applicants must have theability to use shop mathematics, precision measuring equipment, followblueprints, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and follow written work andverbal instructions. Must also have the ability to use CNC controls.
Perform other duties asassigned.
What You Bring
Minimum education required isa high school diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 yrs of Industrial WeldingExperience
Aptitude and at least 1yr ofexperience with operation of CNC controls
Be able to successfully passor provide credentials for successful completion of CRC to include IndustrialReading, Math, Blueprint and Metrology written test.
Ability to pass a 6G pipetest.
Ability to pass standardhearing, vision, and PFT tests.
Ability to use basic shopmath and precision measuring equipment.
Ability to obtain fork truckand crane license.
