Overview
Dig It Contracting is a dynamic, growth-orientated excavation company looking for select people to join the team. At Dig It Contracting safety is priority one. We are currently looking for someone with mechanical and welding experience to work on a variety of equipment i.e. dump trucks, excavators, skid steers etc. Be able to take instruction, work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Working on heavy duty equipment such as Excavators, Backhoes, Dozers and Skid Steers
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all systems associated with work equipment (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic)
- Perform welding tasks when required
- Use various hand and power hand tools
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanics (personal or professional) an asset
- Solid interpersonal skills, reliable
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically fit and capable
- Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety driven environment
