Overview
Doors Plus More is a locally owned, family operated steel door fabricator and hardware distributor with an excellent reputation for suppling quality products to commercial, institutional and industrial projects. We have a current full time opening for an experienced Hollow Metal Door and Frame Fabricator. An ambitious person willing to train and potentially apprentice in our Edmonton Shop will also be considered.

As a shop fabricator you will be responsible to:
1. Assemble and weld steel frames and screens, and prep steel doors for windows and hardware
2. Read and interpret work orders.
3. Keep personal work area clean and organized
4. Follow all shop and personal safety procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
5. Operate specific manufacturing tools as required to complete fabrication
6. Forklift operation (Doors Plus More will train if required)
Qualifications:
1. Grade 12 or equivalent and Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
2. Prior experience in welding door frames, window screens and hardware preps preferred
3. Strong attention to detail and work well in a team environment
4. Forklift operation experience preferred
5. Physical demands of lifting doors and frames onto tables or stacking on pallets
Shift Schedule
1 8 HR shift 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Monday to Friday ( ½ hr lunch )
2 Willingness to work overtime if required.

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
