Area of Specification
Manufacturing maintenance and service repair:
Assembling machinery and equipment
Installing machinery and equipment
Fabricating machine parts, start-up and testing
Troubleshooting, centering and setting to elevation, bearing, seals and packing
Operation of computer-controlled equipment, specialty welding, leveling and aligning
Experience in working on pumps, compressors, grinders, welding equipment, electrical and electrical controls, lathes and other machining tools, power tools, fans and blowers, press brakes and metalworking equipment.
Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG)
Specific Skills:
Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Install machinery and mechanical equipment. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
Essential Skills:
Reading text, numeracy, writing, communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, continuous learning.
Other:
Maintain CNC and manual machines in a machine shop. Experience with preventative maintenance, assembly and equipment repairs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- millwright: 2 years (preferred)
- Industrial Mechanics: 3 years (preferred)
