Crofton has an opening for a Journeyman Welder. You will contribute to our constantly changing customer focused environment and have a proven commitment to flexible work practices, teamwork and continuous learning. This is a bargaining unit position, open to all PPWC members employed in the maintenance department. The senior, qualified applicant will be accepted.
Your qualifications will include:
Red Seal “A” Ticket Welder
Superior interpersonal, problem solving, troubleshooting and coaching skills
Independent self-starter including the ability to initiate business processes
Ability to work in a self-directed team environment
Knowledge of computer applications including MS Outlook, and a willingness to learn other maintenance applications
Demonstrated proficiency in the SAP maintenance management system. (create notifications and emergency work orders, find spare parts, etc.)
A strong focus on safe work practices
