Nason is currently seeking applications for Journeyman or Apprentice Ironworkers for work in Regina, SK.
Journeyman Rate is $41.49/ hour.
Must be local to Regina. No LOA or Travel
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
Erect and install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment
Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials
Attach cables from a crane or derrick and direct crane operators with hand signals or radios
Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts
Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site
Desired Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyman or Apprentice in the trade of Ironworker – Structural
Experience on major industrial project sites
A positive attitude towards safety is expected and imperative
Valid class 5 driver’s license
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and organization skills
CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection
