Presently we are currently looking to recruit full-time Journeyman Welders to join our team for work in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and prepared to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Journeyman Welder Certification
- CSTS2020 is required
- CWB S Class SMAW required
- CWB MGAW and FCAW considered an asset
- Follow all applicable safety regulations
- Attention to detail
- Good understanding of the importance transferring of heat numbers to cropped pieces, material preservation and stainless and carbon segregation.
