Journeyman Ironworker – Welders – Apprentices
Location: 4454 Eleniak Rd
Position: Permanent Full Time Dayshift/Nightshift
Reporting to: Foreman, VP Operations or Designate.

Main roles and Responsibilities
– Demonstrates a commitment to Altaland’s values, an incident free vision, culture and corporate strategies. ALways be Fit for Duty.
– Demonstrate the skills and abilities associated with the trades. Maintain required certifications and competencies for the work.
– Ability to be versatile in work duties within the team environment.
– Maintain a work ethic to complete on time and on schedule, various types of projects consisting of new builds, additions, renovations joists re-enforcing, and misc metals. Most projects within Edmonton, with minimal out of town projects.
– Ensures appropriate personal protective equipment required for the job is worn at all times,
– Other duties as assigned by the VP Operations or designate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Meet the requirements of directly related experience for Journeyman and Apprentice status.
– Those that weld, Must have valid CWB tickets for welding.
– Speaks English, reads English, and writes English;
– Team player, friendly, and displays a professional attitude;
– Accuracy and attention to detail is important;
– Strong attendance and punctuality required.
