McSween is currently seeking exceptional Journeyman Pipefitters to join our team for upcoming shutdowns 2022

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB

Job Description:

  • Promote and adhere to McSween’s Safety Management System
  • Layout and mark piping for cutting.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Industrial Maintenance and Brown Field
  • Working with Isolation’s and Lockout
  • Working Under Air
  • Working with hydraulic torqueing equipment
  • Cold cutting
  • Hydro Testing with use of plugs
  • Rigging
  • Field Measuring, Layout and Dimension new Spools

Job Requirements:

  • Journeyman Steamfitter/Pipefitter Ticket
  • Experience fitting and bolt up pipe.
  • Understands English, speaks average to excellent English, average to excellent English reading skills.
  • Read and Interpret Isometric drawings, drawing specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Positive, outgoing, motivated, and hardworking.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • The ability to communicate professionally with people of all levels.
  • Ability to work well in a team or individual environment.
  • Be able to take direction.
  • Be able to pass Drug & Alcohol Test.

  • CSTS 2020
  • H2S Alive
  • SCBA/SABA Training (Preferred)
  • Confined Space
  • Fall Protection
  • AWP (May be required)
  • WHIMIS 2015
