Overview
Journeyman Pipefitters and Pipe Welders- 5 years commercial experience, must have hand tools associated with HVAC pipefitting, and a pipe fitters handbook. Must read architectural drawings and detail shop drawings. Experienced in fitment and welding for carbon steel weld pipe, threaded pipe systems, grooved pipe systems, and copper pipe soldering and brazing. Experienced in HVAC equipment and installation including boiler, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, including accessories for these systems. Must have the required tools for the job description. Welding candidates must pass a 6G welding test on carbon steel.
