Journeyman Red Seal Welder
Hammerstone is seeking a candidate to fill this full-time position at our quarry 75 kilometers north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment where individual input is not just valued, but expected. These are key principles in keeping you and your co-workers safe. Qualifications
- Red Seal Certificate is required
- Highschool Diploma is required
- Understanding and experience operating and maintaining equipment
- Class 5 license
- Canadian Safety Training System certification
Experience
- 5 years as Journeyman Welder:
- Heavy Equipment repair: Haul Trucks, Dozers, Excavators, Loaders and Buckets.
- Experience with Crushing Equipment required.
General
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- The ability to work in a team environment while working independently and self-directed as needed.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate
- Flights to and from a designated major center are provided at no cost
- Travel from airport to on site lodging and back provided at no cost
- Lodging is provided on site at no cost
Schedule
- 15 days on – 15 days off
- 11.5 hrs a day
